Confirm the correct trim dimensions and page order before export. Embed fonts, use the required color profile and include bleed only where artwork reaches the edge. Avoid adding crop marks unless your provider specifically requests them.
Open the exported file and inspect every page, not only the first few. Check blank pages, headers, footers, image placement and special characters. Upload a proof file and review the manufacturer’s preview carefully; a final technical check protects the quality of the printed edition.
